Bask in the golden cool air of a crisp October afternoon with Pisgah Pale Ale. I often visit the Pisgah Forest with my husband and yearn for the sweet smell of mountains breezes and a cold beer after a long hike up John Rock.
There is an Inn, located in the forest, hidden off the Blue Ridge Parkway called the The Pisgah Inn : this is where I first had this beer at the restaurant located on Inn grounds. First class food and a first class view. It’s breathtaking; high up in the mountain range.
It snowed while we were there for a weekend and it was truly a beautiful time. When I spotted the Pisgah Ale I knew it would take me back! It’s so light and refreshing, it does justice to its name . This IPA provides a quick burst of that true IPA citrus shot and recovers with a smooth finisher. Check out the Inn if your ever in North Carolina. It’s a gem!
